I skipped those six shows that Summer to take Summer School classes. I went to the two Roanoke shows with just the Dead, but that was it.
I'd seen the '86 Summer Tour, and was there for the Dylan walk-ons in Akron and at RFK, but I regret not catching one of the '87 shows. Dylan dug out some nuggets for those shows, and it was my only chance to have seen Jerry on pedal-steel.
It would be nice to get a longer official release of those shows than the snapshot that is the "Dylan & The Dead" LP. Just pick the best of the 6 shows and release it warts and all, or if they have video, release it as a part of the Grateful Dead Day At The Movies series.
There was a series on etree...dead to the core I believe. The complete Dylan tour with all rehearsals too was part of that series. I have it in my archive somewhere
Dylan and the Dead at Foxboro was by far the worst Dead show and the worst Dylan show I ever saw. Saw the Dead two nights before that show in Rochester and then Foxboro was like watching them drive into a brick wall.

"1987, and the stadium-sized
"1987, and the stadium-sized turds that were the Dylan and the Dead concerts."
Can't really disagree on that point.
