Neil Young ~ Bridge School ~ 2019

Cool.  A change of venue, but it's great they are continuing with these benefits after last year's hiatus.

Somewhere, Pegi is smiling.

Holy mother

The setting & event sounds cool, but $250 is a heavy charge.

It doesn't look like the place is an actual "venue" but a cool camp for sick kids. Seeing that the place likely isn't set up for a big crowd, that some type of food & drinks will be provided for everyone and the high ticket price they're probably not selling many tickets to this.

It's nice to see Neil using his time & energy to play a benefit. This Painted Turtle place sounds very worthy of the effort, and it's nice to see him recognizing the Bridge School, to whatever degree that will be.

At this moment I'm not thinking of going, but I have a couple of days to talk myself into it. A good cause and hanging out in the hills listening to Neil as the SoCal sun sets sounds pretty good.

Anybody know anything about this place? Isn't September when the winds are whooping through those hills?

OK, I did some internet research (I LOVE the Google maps satellite feature) and looked this thing over. The site looks pretty cool and there's a big lawn where the stage will likely be.

It's the high desert and I've never been anywhere near this area so overall this is looking like a pretty damn cool road trip, and there's a Holiday Inn in some town called Lancaster nearby where I can get a room using points, so I booked the room and will see about getting a ticket on Friday.

I can cancel the room so the moment of truth will be if I have a ticket in the cart. We'll see, but I bet if I pull the trigger I'll be glad I did.

Thanks for posting this Zooey.

I would go to this if I lived on the left coast and they took Father Misty off the schedule. What's the deal with this guy? Overrated IMO and every article I've read about him, he comes off as a douche

Included with each ticket is an all-star celebrity chef picnic cooked and served by Southern California’s top chefs<<<<

This event has Daryl Hannah stamped all over it.
