Whoa whoa there. from what I understand Ireland was neutral due to the fact that they were still working out their own issues with England at the time but tens of thousands of Irish fought with the good side during WWII. We all know that the Italians were complicit and Nazi sympathizers and no one is surprised by that at all.
As for people of Irish descent from the Boston area, judging by the ones I know, they could be on many sides, many sides. But in any event they'll be up for a fight so this should be interesting! Hopefully Flogging Molly and Dropkick Mrphys will play.

Few have been able to say with a straight face that the "Democrats are the party of slavery" since Nixon successfully adopted the "Southern strategy" to tap into the white racist vote, except maybe my Grandma, sweetest, most gentle and humble Southern lady ever, who said she could never vote for a Republican because it was "the party of Lincoln." She passed away in 1982 (RIP).

The Demonstrators, the ones with a permit, were transported in police wagons to the common.
The Protestors, the ones without a permit, threw bags and balloons full of urine at the wagons and the police.
I hope the Protestors realize that down the line if/when things really get out of hand aka like Athens or something,
the reality is, that in a dark smoke infested street during a protest, some law enforcement with a club or stick, or more, is
going to remember having to go home to their spouse and children to tell them how they got hit with urine today.
