At the risk of perturbing Slick with further discussion, I'll expand on my previous thoughts, please feel free to agree or disagree, but when I mentioned it's a fitting end that Biden is the standard bearer for what the democrats have morphed into, it's in reference to what went so horribly wrong when the members of a once great party [The New Deal, Civil Rights Act of 1964, etc...] walked into the voting booth and pulled the lever for someone they knew deep down in their heart of hearts was a true villain, a figure that wore her bloodthirst for perpetual war and misery as a badge of honor, it was her carefully crafted identity, a neocon's neocon...I believe it was a fait accompli of sorts, sending into motion the entire series of events of the Russia Scam, the Ukrainian Impeachment Scam, and now of course, the rather transparent weaponization of a pandemic for some perceived political gain, its somehow fitting that the ideological leader of such a group is a blatantly corrupt figure with advanced cognitive issues.
