Jerry was terribly off key but the rest of the guys were on in my memory.

I was there as well Doolittle,,Don't remember much besides it was a very nice August Evening. I remember the Box of Rain opener and thought that was kind of unique.

So many new tunes since 1990. Didn't know any of them. Traffic (the band) was good. I think Jerry played with them?

Hornsby sat in for the entire second set:  https://jerrybase.com/events/19940804-03

Jerry sat in with Traffic for Mr. Fantasy and Gimme:  https://jerrybase.com/events/19940804-02

some video / interview with Vinnie : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6mqlXshkCE&t=12s

The Traffic set from 8/3 was officially released on DVD : http://www.deaddisc.com/vi/Last_Great_Traffic_Jam.htm

Don;t remember Hornsby.

Thanx for that Jerrybase tip. Never heard of it.

I forgot I did see JGB  Halloween 93.. Jerry was in good form that night.

Interesting side note for me re:this show. I went with my soon to be ex-girlfriend who I had been dating since college, about 4+ years at the time. Was the end of an era in both respects, so to speak..

>>>>>Don;t remember Hornsby.

I didn't either until I read he was on accordion the whole second set and I had the "oh yeah" moment.  Kind of a waste in my opinion, especially during the second set.

Typical 94 shoe with ups and downs, lyrics flubs but some musical moments as well.  While most people rightfully don't enjoy these shows because they are so sloppy, there are some interesting moments that show potential even though they aren't fully vetted.  In this case, the transition in china rider is pleasantly different.  It doesn't quite find its magic moment but it does pique my curiosity.

I recall thinking Jer had better first sets in his last six Giants' Stadium shows.
