Hüsky produces rather solid chunks of poop, likely due to his grain-free diet. In the yard, I take a stick and direct the items into an old disposable soda cup, then put them by the base of a Dead Pine tree where there's no foot traffic.
At Dawg Park, there are dispensers for the double-layered poop bags, similar to paper-towel dispensers of old. There are four all along the fence, and a few trash cans. The hound takes a dump there about half the time. I bring H.I.M. there just to socialize with his buddies. There's an Anatolian Shepherd, an Akita-Husky cross, and a Boxer-Husky mix which all are his favorite Pals.
He likes the various Pit-Bull crossbreeds as well; they run fast and play Ruff. Occasionally one of the PB's will attempt some aggressive move, and Hüsky will do a lightning-speed counterattack, either knocking the PB over or jumping over it in mid-run. All of this in 'We're just playing' mode. I've only had to intervene in a potential fight once. The owner had an aggressive Pit who(m) was not socialized, and attempted to start some shiite. So I showed them the sign with the Park rules all spelled out, right by the gate.
Some people bring their 2-3 month old Puppies there to adapt to Dawg life. Hüsky takes to them like a Kindergarten teacher, and shows them how to cavort Northern-Dawg style. It is very cute to observe his behavior around the infant Dawgs
