I just edited this mini movie & post it up on YouTube

The Music Scene was a television series aired by ABC as part of its Fall 1969 lineup, in the Monday, 7:30 to 8:15 time-slot.

I've got you opening with Janis Joplin & closing with Sly & the Family Stone!

I took it for a test run and it's actually very moving ...in the feet!

Enjoy this while you can.

Before I have a very funky man living in a van at the foot of my driveway or these tubes get Voodoonloa'd in their entirety.

I made a Part 2 of this video for extra credit & posted it up over at YouTube.

I re-encoded the Ten Years After track. Richie Havens doing Rocky the Raccoon is great.

Check it out:

Very cool, Bluelight. Thanks for all the effort. I'll watch them shortly.

Thank you sir. I really appreciate it.

THE MUSIC SCENE was our "local" record store in the 70s.  Two towns away on "the Avenue".  Where I purchased A Night at the Opera and Wish You Were Here.    A small chain, apparently.  The bags listed four stores: three Music Scene and one The Flip Side.

I don't recall ever really noting the other locations.  Not sure if they were all in NJ.  A small voice is telling me "Elizabeth", but that just might be a Sanford and Son rerun rolling around up there.

I found another 6 minutes of Sly & The Family Stone on the cutting room floor and added it to part 2. Deleted the first link and just re-posted it.
