One of the better movies I've seen this year. The comparison of this sweet man and a simpler time with the current state of the USA was really powerful to the whole theater. LOTS of tears in the house.
SPOILER ALERT:
So, in real life some bigot poured caustic chemicals in a public pool when African American kids were first allowed to swim there.
The next show - with no reference to the ugly event - Mr. Rogers invited his mailman (who is black) to cool down with him. They both took off their socks & shoes and sat next to each other with their feet in a kiddie pool. Lots of stories like that....

One of the better movies I've
