I am happy to see it but the bill was whittled down and involved much hand-wringing. The under-lying message and over-riding belief is still "There are also those who really want a recreational marijuana program that could lead to more people smoking and less people working, with all the societal and family ills that that brings."

Agreed...but be careful when doing so as this adage rings too true: "Go there on vacation, leave there on probation." I recently read that some of the REDneck hillbilly cops forces at/adjacent CA & CO ski areas were planning on enforcing Fed Cannabis laws as ski resorts typically sit on leased federal land.
Those drug war/warrior losers are hanging on for dear life. "Odd" that they rarely lean on similarly slanted federal firearm laws....unless it's "drug" related.
