Thanks for the streams.

floatilla is working fine here.

Making Guacamole from MX Avocados,  Fresh Lemon,  Red Omion,  Garlic.

Use to cover the Texas Tornado's tune, "Guacamole", always a crowd pleaser!

Met her at the Mercado
She was buying avacados
Man... she really turned me on
She reached for my pepper
I grabbed her tomatoes
And I knew, it wouldn't be very long
She went to the mesa
I grabbed my cerveza
I got the onions and lemon
And the way she looked at me
Man I could clearly see
It wouldn't be very long
Guacamole! GUACAMOLE!
Guacamole! GUACAMOLE!
We'd me making Guacamole all night long
Guacamole! GUACAMOLE!
Guacamole! GUACAMOLE!
We'd be making Guacamole all night long
She headed for the light
I fell in right behind
Man... She sure looked good to me
She reached for her money
I said "wait a minute honey
I believe, this one is on me"
So we got in my pickup
We started to back up
And headed on down the road
We went to her casa
Tortillas de masa
And made guacamole all night long
Guacamole! GUACAMOLE!
Guacamole! GUACAMOLE!
We'd be making guacamole all night long
Guacamole! GUACAMOLE!
Guacamole! GUACAMOLE!
We'd be making guacamole all night long
We'd be making guacamole all night long

Thanks Zone!

I'm afraid to listen, planning to stop by the orlando arena to see if I can get a cheap ticket to see bobby and Bill the drummer one more time.

Cassidy

Brown-eyed Women

Bertha

Good Lovin'

I caught the Brown Eyed>Bertha >Good Lovin>La Bamba and thought it was uninspiring. Perhaps the boys be drinking to much Tequila again.

music to kill yourself to

Thanks for posting.  Listened through Cassidy.  To me it just sounds too cold, flat  and calculated.  The vocals are poor and while there are musical moments where they reach out and touch something, they seem short lived and slip away pretty quick.  Like Robbie Robertson said in the Last Waltz, “it ain’t what it use to be.”

I liked the improvs on Cassidy and after playing, but again, really slow tempos...   even with the Family band it's a rock and roll show.  I've got company coming from different parts of the NW for a concert tomorrow night, so it's been very slow cleaning music for me, lol  (where's the JRAD stream, lol)

BEW -> Bertha segment inspired me to chop Avo,  juice Lemons,  grind Salt,  feed Hüsky...

He already ate earlier,  but often likes a late-night Snacky.

I had seven Avos that were perfect for the Guac.  Just prior to overripe.

who makes guac with lemons ?

>> who makes guac with lemons ?

True that. Better with lime.

Someone without limes?

Boggles the mind.

No limes in the house,  so Lemons had to do.

This audio feed is a bit quirky,  as if the streamer's  feed is bouncing between different towers a few miles apart ??

Brutally slow......

pedestrian

Someone with the high def (paid for) stream was complaining of dropouts, freezes, etc,   so essentially the stream's been a lemon, another reason to need limes!

ladyinvelvet stream works on mixlr.  Must be the satellite fone vs. dial-up.

Did you listen to both sets, Noodler?

Did you pay for a stream?

I was actually cleaning up the house for tomorrow, listened to one of the streams, payed attention to the start of the first set (playin - uncle, then phone call),  heard part of the jam on Cassidy.  Got to listen to a good part of Scarlett (decent tempo) then another phone call, lol.  Was able to listen again during Estimated / Eyes, but the stream was crashing...  did hear the drums, loved it, likely my fave part of the show (what little I focussed on)...  so lucky I caught the jam parts (what I gravitate towards).  Finally, heard the weight, was nice hearing everyone sing.  Definitely on the slow side for my taste, but use to that now.  So didn't hear enough to offer an opinion, except the worlds a better place when these guys are playing, even if there's other music that might light that fire a little brighter, it's still "just a little light" in an otherwise dark moment in time (both personally, and world wise).

More important, I cleaned out parts of my house I just don't clean, found some old back stage passes, posters, pics, 2 cubensis, a peyote button, LOL...   and enough dust bunnies to realize I was quite serious about my (former) collection in that other post.  Also found a bunch of non dead bootlegs i'm looking forward to checking out  (a band called the "Cartoons" from the bay area, early 80's?, and they do cartoon music, and a zappa cover).  Also found a video of me playing jazz from 87, and that Charlie Rouse show on video, now I need to figure out a way to digitize them, my video player died eons ago...

Tomorrow having a bunch of musicians converge here for the Frisell show pre-function (from Portland, Eugene, Salem), really looking forward to it.  Kind of got out of that working swing shift at the hospital for those many years, feels good to have a life again, even if just for a night...   hope folks show up early enough to jam a bit!

Finally, sorry if I was too snarky with you the other night, felt like I was just tossing the snark around, but read it later that night, and it was a bit much, even for me, so my apologies if you took offense on any levels for that!

cheers!

DeadCo is somewhat reminiscent of the sound an animal makes when it's run over by a pick-up truck. Flat out unnatural.

And to think that I used to blame Jerry for the standard repetitive set lists......

You think DeadCo is slow, wait until Phil and Bob come out for the Duo tour

They should include a pillow with your ticket

^^^^^

any band the bobster is involved in these days should come w a complimentary pillow.....

Sold my tix for both days.....came to my senses smiley

You can never be too snarky with me, Noodler.

I'm gonna bet the Frisell / Morgan show is unassumingly brilliant, and hope you enjoy it.

Drums was the best part.

Christ DeadCo have never NOT been slow. Don't you people get tired fucking complaining about it??

Some things never get old.

>>>>Christ DeadCo have never NOT been slow. Don't you people get tired fucking complaining about it??<<<<

No they don't. Mckenna normally leads the way. Kinda funny actually.

Been a huge Jelly fan but think he is so hurt and distraught over people complaining about Phil's "phriends" the last few years that it's like an automatic defense mechanism at this point. He has to put them down to try and silence the Phil's "phriends" suck crowd assuming those who put down Phil are Bobby fans only. Instead of people just not into Phil's "phriends."

Then again I can be way off basesmiley

Pretty sure they don't care either way.

I don't. I complain and bitch about most everythingwink

Last night was even slower.
