I have a reasonably cool Merle story...he was opening for Dylan at the Beacon Theater in New York City, for whatever reason no one was partaking in herbal technology, I don't know why that was, but for whatever reason, there was no herbal activity, so anyways...I imbibed, close enough to the stage for him to take note, I'm hopeful that it made him a bit more inspired, that was my intent. He was a true legend, the energy in the room was palpable, as a collective, there was an understanding we were in the presence of a national treasure.
