I actually pulled out the acoustic and noodled around a little bit while recording, was sloppy as all hell, but kind of fun too. I never play acoustic anymore (it shows), but what the hell, even posted it on facebook. Now a buddy dared me, he'd record an improv tomorrow if I recorded another one, so game on! Let slopfest begin! Perhaps one day may actually learn how to play guitar again!
These days I rarely listen to music if it's not being played live in the room I'm in at the time, but I clicked on this and easily got through both sets.
SF Sorrow in mono. What a great album. Dudes were in a band with Mick and Keith before the Stones, saw Bowie cover 2 of their songs for Pinups and became the first band Led Zeppelin signed to Swan Song. But the psychedelic years are where it's at
Sweet americana-jam band out of the beach areas near Charleston. Song based, a few hints of graceland and reggae. Guitar player is a finger picker and he can FLY. Lots of songs about water, waves, ocean. Saw them a few years ago but they are sounding even better. Latest album is Heritage, or try this recording:https://archive.org/details/DM2017-04-14.sbd.flac24

You can glean real nuggets of info from some of the numbers reports they crunge (re: inflation of wax prices, trends, global concentrations of buyer/seller esp in regard to particular genres).
Buying on there can be really hit or miss. I'm about 50/50 with nice successes on there. Usually fun, at least.

Saw Chrome last night, Helios Creed has still got it. Gloriously loud psychedelic chaos. Easing my ringing brain with the new Dungen/Woods EP, Myths 003. Exactly how you would think it sounds, so good.
The Black Page, Dickie's Such An Asshole [parts on BTHW], Stick Together, My Guitar Wants To Kill Your Mama, Willie The Pimp, Montana, City Of Tiny Lights, A Pound For A Brown (q. I am so happy to have my turntable. Listening to the self-titled Jerry Hahn Brotherhood, a record I've had since about 1974. This album has guts.

Jerry Hahn - guitar, banjo, vocals

I really like Mike Finnigan. He's still touring with Bonnie Raitt and playing studio stuff in L.A.
The album Crazed Hipsters by the group Finnigan and Wood is next.
Mike Finnigan - keyboard, harmonicas and vocals
Jerry Wood - guitar and vocals
Don Clarey - drums

Ray Bagby - drums
Roy Loeclkie - tenor sax
We woke up early and watched the sun come over the horizon getting baked and listening to Nashville Skyline and then Katy Lied. A very good morning it was.
Moved on to Emmylou’s Luxury Liner and ending this fine Sunday with Joni Mitchell’s Ladies of the Canyon. It’s all popular stuff, I suppose, but it never gets old for me.
Wet Tuna. New to me avant folkies, GD meets NYC indie sounds. Here they do I know You Rider. Beautifully fluid guitars, guy who sounds like Dean Wareham singing dry and wobbly, beat machine, and some fuzzy space. Sounds better than it reads. Good morning music.
