Magpie Salute

Forums:

They were to play 2 years ago at the Pompano Beach amphitheater but it was canceled by a hurricane. Been waiting for them to swing down here again. Caught them last night at the Parker Playhouse, a great 900 seat place built in 1967 it has great acoustics, comfy seats and lots of room to shake a leg.

They sucked. They sucked balls. Only 300 people at max there, singer sounds like shit and the sound was off bad.

Man that band needs Chris.

What a waste of $120 for the 2 of us.

Saw them last year. Loud muffled guitar clusterfuck.

Jokers running the board should all be fired.

Love the vocalist but he can't compete with shitty sound.

Hookah Brown was da shit,

and sounded soooo much better.

Saw them in Boulder last year the day before Phish Dicks' run ... I didn't think they sucked, but was kinda underwhelmed.

Actually just saw CRB on Sunday night and thought it was at the least a very good show ...   even in light of having to get past some of the stuff that comes out of Chris' mouth off stage.  By the same token, even though I enjoyed the show, I couldn't go back the 2nd night.   It's just "too much of the same" to justify a repeat, at least for my tastes.

I really liked their album, and I like what they play, but I have to concur that the sound was not good when I saw them.  It didn't make me hate them, it made me wish they had decent sound. Cause they ain't going nowhere if they don't fix that.

I passed after listening to some youtubes

Sorry about the bunk show.

Seeing Chris with John Molo and Barry Sless in a a few weeks. Always good to see Mt. St. Molo on the kit.

Just saw this picture on FB.  There are tons of magpie's in Colorado, but have never seen a blue one.
