Going to see Lucinda Williams tomorrow at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center in very beautiful West Hampton Long Island.

It's been 13 years since Lucinda's album "World With Out Tears", when it's hit "Righteously" was released. My favorite of her's, so far.

A new tour is kicking off in the midst of either inspiring or uninspiring upheaval in our nation. I think, this will kick her in the butt & it will rock by the show's finale.

Newsday has a short interview with Lucinda (see the link below - with adds) in which she discuses a new album and a new set for her shows.

A very special and intimate

A very special and intimate and evening last night with Lucinda Williams out on eastern Long Island at the WHBPAC, in Westhampton, NY.

I was running late for the show; ordered a Pizza for my father & I and forgot my wallet..

Cruised out east, at "Ludicrous Speed". Fried.

Love this place. The merchant desk had every Lucinda CD there. Unisex T- Shirts (only), that I don't think my friends would like..

(Lucinda lost her mother last decade and just lost her father in 2015, famed poet Miller Williams to Alzheimer's. She's been laying low).

The show came out rocking, and was soon in a somber mood; then rocking again, then solo for while. The show had a 3 song encore & the show was 2 1/2 hours long.
