This is germane at the moment because how could Trump know anything more than someone who actually reads? 

We now know that Trump did indeed have something to do with Russia before, during and after the campaign and he lied about his attempt to build a hotel in Moscow. Trump even offered the $25 million penthouse to Putin if he allowed him to build Trump tower in Moscow and of course there aren't any members of the Republican base of morons who know what the Foreign Corrupt Businesses Act is. Nor do they know how many times Trump has broken that law because Bill Barr made sure that Robert Mueller did not get to go down that rabbit hole. 

When you understand that Trump's only measuring stick is money, it is easy to see why he is so servile and accommodating to Putin. He still wants his Trump Tower Moscow so he can brag about having a Trump Hotel in so many time zones or whatever. That or he is more indebted to Russian oligarchs than he wants anyone to know about which explains his desperate concealment of his financial records. 

If he were not so desperate to get that Moscow hotel, he wouldn't have lied about it and had his children lie about it but when you have crossed the line of defrauding charities for veterans and children with cancer as the Trumps have, lying about their Russian business ties only seems like a misdemeanor. 

It's not that Trump has told over 20,000 documented lies that perturbs any Republican anymore because they are not only the party of stupid but the party of lies. Their transformation from the Russian hawks of Ronald Reagan into the Friends of Putin Trump cult is now complete. 

Every single time the patriots of this country have wondered aloud if Trump could go any lower than say, attacking gold-star families, he has always shown us a new depth of depravity that has never made the base morons gulp in horror. After you lock children up in cages, you are just a breath away from killing anyone not in your cult. 

But even with my vast imagination, I did not think I would see Republicans who can never shut up about their support for the troops so quiet about Trump getting briefed about Putin's bounties on America's sons and paying those bounties as their president did even more to excuse Vladimir Putin's murder of our men in uniform and he did indeed pay Taliban soldiers to kill American soldiers.

We first got human intelligence from assets in Afghanistan that Russians were offering money to anyone who killed allied forces there. There were two separate tribes in Afghanistan reporting this. This human intelligence worked its way up the chain of command in February or March of 2019! 

So what did we do to confirm this intelligence? We sent in SEAL Team 6 to do a raid in one of the camps that supposedly got paid by the GRU. So what did the SEALs find in that camp? They found $500,000 in American cash. 

This operation was approved by the National Security Council and so were its results. The AP reported late last night that the NSC wanted to advise the president to merely ask Russia not to pay bounties to kill American soldiers but that was rejected outright as being more than the president would be willing to do. But they did in fact inform MI-5 of the results of the SEAL raid and that Putin was paying bounties for allied soldiers. 

Trump said on Sunday that he was not briefed about the Russian bounties nor was Pence. The credulity it would take to believe that horse shit defies imagination. Does anyone but the most ridiculously stupid members of his cult believe that Trump didn't hear about a raid conducted by SEAL Team 6 that proved that Russia was paying bounties to kill Americans? 

Trump toady DNI Rat-cliffe had the audacity to claim that he wasn't briefed because the information wasn't solid. Wait what? No really. The SEALS raid a Taliban camp and find half a million dollars based on human intelligence from two separate tribes in Afghanistan who reported to CIA agents that the Russians were paying bounties to kill allied soldiers and they find the actual cash the Russians paid and this isn't good information? Well that's evidence that would get any jury in all 50 states to convict for a capital crime beyond any reasonable doubt Mr. Rat-cliffe!

If you believe Trump was not briefed about this then isn't that a degree of criminal incompetence and dereliction of duty on his part? 

If you were one of those dumbass Republican goons who thought Colin Kaepernick was 'disrespecting our soldiers' by kneeling at a football game then what in the hell do you call it when the president is too much of a coward to merely ask Putin to stop putting bounties on our soldiers? 

Because to the rest of us out here suffering from the reality your flagrant stupidity has caused all of us, that's treason every single day of the week and twice on Sunday! 

You dishonorable seditious Republican bastards never again get to claim you support our troops or that you're patriots because you elected this traitor and buried your heads in the sand at every turn when we told you what he was. 

And for all you fence-sitting dullards who fell for the con, you can regain some self-respect by ridding our nation of that traitor Trump by voting for Joe Biden. 

For anyone else in doubt just remember that nothing good comes from Republicans, absolutely nothing.

Lord knows I'm not here to defend the GOP, but there are lots of corrupt politicians on both sides.

The Trump administration is a scourge that has damaged our respect for and the legitimacy of the institution of government.  Maybe once we're rid of it, our country can reimagine how political parties shape the national agenda, but I am skeptical.
