Listening to 05 15 70

I got on the bus in Spring '73, and I can't recall such a thing.

I caught "Go Ahead" twice in a club one night in Fall '86, which was cool being 10 feet from Brent and Billy.

11/7/70 at the Capital is listed as a double bill, the last one marked as such in Deadlists.  In the infamous debate between Bear and a Zoner (can't recall who) over whether the 2/13 and 2/14 Fillmore shows were a double bill Bear insisted that those were single shows and said that the Dead didn't do double bills anymore by that time, but they obviously did a few more after those dates.

I'll take a stab at this..I'm thinking it's the 1970 SUNY Stoney Brook Gym Halloween shows, Tom.

also heard a friend talk about the Legion of Mary shows, some of which were early and late separate concerts...and that it was unlikely you could see both shows because there would be a line around the building stretched out with people waiting for the late show. im guessing thats how it was at those 1970 Dead early/late shows you saw.

All I remember for two ticket nights are JGB shows 78, maybe late 77 too at the Tower or Warner? I have stubs for both shows for 3/18/78 anyway. I can't remember if the PNW late 78 shows were but it seems Seattle was. My disks for those three nights are labeled early and late. I thought it was a pain in the ass and never did just one or the other. 

Asbury Park Convention Center July 1980, Jerry early and Jerry late shows. Early show was 3 or 4 songs, encore and done. 

The Fillmore East usually had early and late shoes.  In the 70's on the east coast, JGB also usually had early & late shoes.
