Personally, I think these "open carry" fools aren't doing whatever cause they are supporting any good. Bad optics. Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should. BTW - the term "semi automatic machine guns" is a bit of an oxymoron. "Machine guns" have been highly regulated for decades and are very hard to acquire legally and even if you somehow qualify, they are usually prohibitively expensive for most folks.
