Should make for some nice mid-week listening.

P.S. Who's got my Nashville Phil?

^^^^

I thought them two was cool now, after what Kimock said about Phil on that one guitar forum.

I missed that.  What did he say?

I believe somebody linked that discussion here on the Zone at one time or another, but I don't remember the name of the forum.

Anyway, somebody who posts on that forum, who is supposedly Steve Kimock, and who seemed to know a helluva lot about playing guitar, said (to paraphrase) that while Phil is wildly appreciated, in terms of actual playing, he is under-utilized as an influence.

It was on The Gear Page.*

Kimock wrote a long post lauding Phil's playing.

I don't think Steve hates Phil.

*Above post is a repost on rukind* of the original post on Gear Page.

*Sorry, the graphics on that page look like rukind.

Fucking old people...

Not tonight

It's a band called Grandaddy.

It would be nice to see Kimock apologize for that BS back in the day...I don't think Phil would ever forgive him, nor should he, but Steve does owe him an apology. That was some serious BS as I recall.

I seem to remember something about Maggie's Farm.

Maybe Kimock hates Dylan?

Maybe Phil owes him an apology?  We really don't know what happened so anything is possible.

Looks like the World Cafe show is on Archive now:

I'll know what I'll be hearing on this work-week night.

Who's got my Nashville Phil?

I thought the set sounded great.

I did feel compelled to flush my speakers with a proper "Crazy Fingers" after the band's Phil-less rendition.

But I do love Kimock!
