Juneteenth dance party/BLM protests

Got back from a big dance party down at the park outside Revolution Hall.   I went down there to protest and it ended up being a party in the park with DJs and about a 1000 white kids partying and dancing with BLM signs and White Claws.   At least they were wearing masks (when not drinking).  At one point, somebody stopped the music and I thought it was finally getting to a traditional political protest with speakers, chants, and what not, but it was only an announcement for a set of found car keys.

Anyway, Juneteenth is about celebration so I get the festive mood and the sound system was loud and the music mixed well.   It was one of several protests and celebrations across town, including the nightly Antifa v. police skirmishes down at the justice center and a kids' and families' march earlier today in North Portland.   The I-5 brdige across the river into Vancouver was blocked and a statue of George Washington was torn down last night.
