Joe The DINO

Forums:

Joe fucking Manchin, Democrat In Name Only.

He Sucks WV coal pond water.  I wish he'd just switch to the obstructionist party so the dems can move us forward.

Speaking at the Economic Club of Washington D.C. on Tuesday, the West Virginia Democrat addressed recent reports that he's been encouraged to join the Republican Party.

Manchin quipped, "I don't know where I belong,"

Come senators, congressmen, please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway, don't block up the hall

Yep. But until DEMs start putting forward sensible, electable, and sometimes less liberal candidates in more red/conservative areas they will be kissing ass to losers like Joe et al.

The extreme fringes of both parties fucking suck. Go ahead and call me "a centrist" if you want but it is simple strategy that the GOP is better at and more prepared for as well.

Manchin complains that nobody will compromise with him. What a piece of shit. They've compromised the spending bill down by over 50% to satisfy him.

On the other end, Progressives are saying that they won't vote for the slimmed down bill.

The Senate really isn't a 50/50 split. It's 48/50/2. As no Reps will cross party lines, this is what we get. If Manchin flips to R, it really won't make a difference.

What can California do about Joe Manchin? Send somebody some more money,?

He should switch parties so the GOP has to kiss his ass for him to go along with their ridiculous BS....Too bad he can't take Bernie and AOC with him. WTF has either of them actually accomplished?

The senator from Coal

Indeed. He just pocketed over $1M in coal "investment" dividends too so I doubt he's planning to back away from that cash cow. This clown is only example of what is rampant across Congress.

Can we get some accomplishment testimonials?

He will flip if the Q's regain the Senate next year.  If not sooner.

If Dems pick up a few more seats he and Sinema should be expelled.

West Virginia used to be a somewhat union state but gone with the wing it seems.

In this time of transitioning away from dinosaur based fuels (coal), Joe's state is near certain to have a *need* from the Senate soon enough.

What kind of need? In my mind, outside of an emergency declaration (or maybe even including one) doesn't really matter.

I dislike saying/thinking West Virginians should be 'punished' by the other 49 D senators via having legislation, social benefits, or some type of economic necessities stonewalled or withheld, but that seems like the only actual leverage against that I could see.

This is probably the arm I would be twisting if I were a D Senator. (recognizing I am just a lowly party-unaffliliated Oregonian voter, here)

Which could serve to either neuter Manchin, or bring the senate to some worse position than it is currently in...

and Arizona purse lady too

Disgusted he is acting the way he is, but that's politics in DC. I'm thinking about a song for "$5 million Joe". To have this coal man holding up progress on THE major issue in our world to protect his buddies and family and have personal gain, it's the epitome of what's wrong with our system. I wondered if we could change those chants to "Fuck Joe Manchin", but that's not helpful. And since getting re-elected is the major concern for all these clowns, maybe a one-term term limit would help. I mean, I mean, did you get a 2 year or 6 year probationary period on your job? If you can't get stuff done in that time period, adios. Watch this video.  https://twitter.com/donwinslow/status/1450205030393413634

y'all know this is bryen's senator?

DINO to RINO?

Excellent Turtle, so that's where "Bryen" has been...

Working for Manchin!

Sounds about right....

Yeah Noodler, that's the first thing they talk about in that video link I posted above. And her brother's coal company is funneling about $1 million per year to mom and dad. Manchin and his family are doing very well financially.
