I was rocked out by the Joan Jett & the Black Heart set last night at Jones Beach as the opening act for Boston, who they blew away.
This was Joan Jett & the Black Heart first show on her home of Long Island, since they were inducted into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2015. She came to let you know why.
Bad Reputation was the opener.
The best version of (Ch Ch Ch) Cherry Bomb, I ever heard.
Sly & the Family Stone's "Every Day People" was the encore. :epic:
See them if you can.

RIP and prayers out to former Bass player for Blackhearts (1 year 2002), and current T.S.O. and Adrenaline Mob member, David Z.
Just terrible story about band (adr. Mob) in their RV on way to gig. They pull over to change a flat tire, as does a van following with their equipment. As they are changing tire, a vehicle (ive read, car, and or 18 wheeler) veers off road and hits them. A fire ensues.
Three surviving members of Adrenaline Mob are all in serious, but stable condition.
Thoughts and prayers to all affected.
