jlp Phish mann review night one

Forums:

I went to the show specifically to see the band free at shakedown called crickets and cicadas and as always they did not disappoint.

One of my favorite things about them is that they don't repeat a song each month which is fun.

They rocked my world as they always do with a killer alligator and throwing stones especially. Also bonded with a local girl called jazz who also loves them so that was sweet

Had no intention of going in the show because I was really there for those guys but I stuck around to vend and be in the scene.

Nitrous was actually more contained than other times like it was everywhere but not so much everywhere. Some nitrous Mafia dudes parked right behind me and I told them they better keep that shit mobile and away from my car which they did. It's crazy though that they're friends with like vendors and cops and it's totally normal in this city

Anywho as the show was going to begin I went up to the box office to see how the sound was and lo and behold there was jazz!

Normally at that venue or I guess back in the day you used to be able to hike up a big ass Hill to the right of the venue to get to the top but that's been fenced off at some point.

So we decided to head to the other direction to see what was up so we passed all the big buses and machine that is the band

Past the staff lot and there was this little magical path out of nowhere

So after climbing about a thousand steps deeper and deeper into a beautiful mysterious green vestige of nature

We finally made it to the top where you are right behind the fence of the top of the hill of the venue and the sound is Crystal Crystal clear

Folks actually are regulars and bring their lawn chairs up there lolol

So that was where I spent the first set in tune with nature the music the fireflies the sunset

It was glorious!

And the music wasn't half bad either. Was feeling a Wilson got to punch you in the eye which I will take

And I can listen to the second set on my $5 satellite radio deal for the year

If you're local and you are on the fence about tonight I quote our beloved Adam and say

go to the show

((((JLP going to Phish))))

Right on- good for you!

Nice recount of events.

❤️

Love it

Was lucky to be down inside for night one, much sweaty and glorious dancing in the philly soup ensued, was delightful.
