JGB is ripping it up at the Cap tonight with Zach Nuggent and band

Set One

How Sweet It Is

Cats

Wonderful World

Tore Up

Mississippi Moon

Dear Prudence

Midnight Moonlight

I think that's most of it...

Just got back to the Hilton, great show.  Loved the Crazy Fingers and Rising Sun by JK and Melvin was just wonderful.  Last time I saw Mississippi Moon was in 1987 when Garcia played on Broadway.  Loved seeing it all these years later, so much in between.

I am so bummed I am sick and missed this show.

They're playing in a nice theater in Beverly Mass. tonight.

Absolute smoker of a show..how Melvin should of sounded with Phil last year. JK sounded great as well.

That's the first Melvin's set above, his second set started at about 11:30 w/ John K. coming out for the last few songs..(Harder They Come and  Deal)..

Ron Holloway on sax the whole show...2nd set started w road runner...my sisters and brothers and positively 4th street in there as well ..before JK came out at the end..

2nd set

Roadrunner, You Never Can Tell (C'est La Vie), Positively 4th street, Mystery Train, Sisters and Brothers, Harder They Come, Deal

Harder They Come and Deal with JK, who was awesome. Zach is great but he could definitely pick up some pointers from John, including just turning himself up more. I get the sense he's still tentative on stage and so he keeps his volume low, but he plays really well and needs to add some more umph to his sound, tonally and volume-wise.

Melvin was in command last night, rocking show!

Jerry Band music/covers just work better for his sound and band.
