My first time in San Diego, of course it was wonderful! Another show on a Cal State campus, while I was going to one that there was no
way Garcia was going to play at again! (Humboldt State; he played the gym in '76).
Great little amphitheater in the middle of campus, just perfect. Really nice show; the night before
was my first time at Irvine, possibly the best (and longest) Don't Let Go I saw (a couple dozen).
I would visit the amphitheater once more for Dylan in 2000 or '01.
I loved the place.
