Fiends who were there said it was blazing but up until today I never heard it.
I missed this gig cause I was on the Big Island getting away from it all!
Interestingly, Jerry followed me to HI! Saw him at the Waikiki Shell on 5/12 but regrettably missed him at the Hilo Long House cause I was on my way back to Oakland.
Tasty stuff all up in here!

I remember vaguely hearing about this, & attending a street festival featuring some of the same players (Merl S was there too) during the June Cal Expo/Shoreline run at which some local folks were hoping Jerry would appear, because they had attended this gig. Wow Brian Wilson needed a Benefit?

I was there.
Jerry indeed played with Country Joe.
It was also one of the last Dinosaur Joe's prior to Cippolina leaving us.
