Just discovered him. I admit I must be living under an f'n rock. He was around playing for like 25 years and I was clueless. Lost his sight when he was around one, so he was forced to learn and play the guitar in a way that is strictly of his own invention. Unfortunately died at 41 from cancer in 2008. My mind is just kind of blown right now. I really need to get out more, Seriously! Check out the you video 'As The Years Go Passing By' from the Stuttgart Jaz Festival in 1995 if you haven't seen it. I'm also listening to Gary Moore on youtube right now. The man is covering 'The Sky is Crying.' Wow! Hadn't been familiar with him either. I'm thinking it is my day to discover some incredible musicians you are no longer with us. Just wish I had been with it 30 years ago and seen these guys.

I just read about it and remember more than I thought I did. That was a movie and Jeff Healey's music and stage presence was a big part of it. ! Thanks for the reminder, Bss.
