Sorry Bill Gates I Rule Now - Jeff Bezos

Worlds RICHEST Man = Over 90 Billion....

I wonder what weed he smokes

if you buy things from amazon you are part of the problem

What problem?

I Like Amazon

Is capitalism the problem?

If I can't get something through a somewhat local and independent vendor I'll go to Amazon.

Amazon Prime rocks.

JC Penny is the problem, Trebor.

Adapt, or die.

Mom and Pop have a really nice pool. I clean it for free.

Where do you have to live to get a shitty Amazon job?

Close to an interstate in the rust belt

I believe Reno has a large Amazon distribution center (railroads).

Shelbyville, KY

Whole Foods are all over CA.

I've got 500 good books literally in my pocket, plus I can read all this zone blather. And no fat people blocking the aisles like you get at wallyworld. Amazon's ok

reno slacker.

ned hates mom n pop.

They have one close to the town I grew up in here in pa. Job description sounds horrible. 14.50 a hr

Google says that Amazon has 341,000 employees, and it looks like they offer benefits like health, stocks, sick time, time off, etc.

Corporatism - it's the new fascism.

>>JC Penny is the problem, Trebor.

not according to Beck.

Google says that Amazon has 341,000 employees, and it looks like they offer benefits like health, stocks, sick time, time off, etc.<<<<

I've been told it's a toxic corporate culture where employees are expected to work 80 hours a week.

80 hours per week is a lot of overtime.

These are the salaried employees working the corporate jobs.  No OT.

What do they do for 80 hours?

It was described to me as a cut-throat environment, so I guess they're trying to out work each other to death.

The real problem is his conflict of interest owning the Washington Post while simultaneously having a $500 million contract for the CIA to build them their own Cloud.

Java Dave probably wouldn't excel in a highly competitive corporate environment.

You're probably right, Mark.  I could handle the workload as I regularly put in that amount of hours working for myself, but I've never enjoyed jobs where I couldn't trust the intentions of my colleagues.

What do you do, Mark?

I work in a highly competitive corporate environment, Java Dave.

I think you're wise not to join the corporate world. Beta males like yourself usually end up in HR for staring at the attractive female employees.

I call bullshit, Mark.  What firm?

Try running your own business for 12 years.  Nothing beta about that.

It speaks volumes about you that you spend most of your time here putting others down.

Bullshit IS highly competitive
