Jaguar XJ8

Forums:

So i bought this Jaguar XJ8 off my mechanic I Am Selling It - it is a 4 door Runs Great , sits low to the ground and it Hauls A##. Power Everything seats windows etc has a Sunroof and a 6 disc cd changer in the trunk that you control on the dash , sound is great from the Speakers , Paint job is a Faded Gold and Tires are in Pretty Good Shape. I Paid $ 2800 For it in Late January and NOW I WANT A QUICK SALE On The Car !!!

SO WHAT SHOULD I SELL IT FOR ?  thanks

my for sale signs have it at $2200  and i am Willing to LOWER The Price.

I would check around on Craigslist to see the general range they are selling for.   Also Kelly Blue Book.

Used to have an XJ6 way back in the day.   My dad had an XK-E and my uncle had a Mark X.  Fun cars but like a lot of British automobiles, they tend to break down a lot and the repairs aren't cheap.

A Jaguar? Get rid of that thing at any price, quickly, before something breaks.

Forgot to add  the Odometer has it at 136,000 miles on it

3500

Will sell before the marker dries

I'm pretty sure that before one can figure out a good price, the year is essential.

IT'S A 2003.................

Buy high, sell low?

Thanks, Ned. Someone had to go there. What's wrong with the thing, Rob?

Ask $5000. I would think you can turn it pretty quick for $3-4k for it at least.

If this doesn't turn into a complete disappointing mess for you, Plf, then I would consider it a positive.  There's a reason why luxury cars have such bad resale values. good luck

Nothing Wrong With it Mike - Guess ill keep it at $2200

i don't Need 3 Vehicles..

i can't believe the Speedometer goes to a 170 mph

The Brits make better food than cars

^ not saying much.

My buddies Bentley disagrees

My parents had a 30 year obsession with British cars.   They had three MGs, two Jaguars, two Triumphs, an Austin-Healey, and a Rover sedan (British cop car).    The repair bills were ridiculous.

My ex replaced my reliable Pathfinder with a '88 Range Rover. 2 months and $2000 later we sold it.

A black 2003 Jaguar sedan is the type of car a past-his-prime-screenwriter would drive, while cruising for street boys in West Hollywood.

If you're looking for a prospective buyer, I'd start with that general target demo.

Anyone know Zippy? And his purple Jag?
