Yelling doesn't help. The last counter protest I attended outside our local parenthood was dance party with loud music to drown out the crazies.
They were required to stay on the other side of the street and we were allowed to be out front of Planned Parenthood - I'm not sure how that all was organized. It was fun.
One woman from our group was a trained mediator, and she walked over to the other side and had a nice chat with them and listened to their concerns, and then they left.
Don't give them the reaction that they want and they go away
that being said, if I'm driving by and I happen to see the nut cases outside of Planned Parenthood I honk and wave, To get their attention and then promptly salute them.
