If it turns out proof exists that Trump has been severely "compromised" ...

...  for some time prior to the 2016 election.

Would it be fair for Dems to summarily impeach both Gorsuch and Kavanaugh; assuming they have the necessary supermajority in 2020 or sometime thereafter?

It would be silly unless they can prove high crimes and misdemeanors. Tough to prove against a SCOTUS member. What did they do wrong?

I'm afraid not liking their opinions is not sufficient.

Maybe in a parallel universe, sure.

It would have nothing to do with what either has "done" per se, but would stand as a repudiation of their nominations by a POTUS who may have had alterior motives related to said lifetime appointments; likewise, the remedy would provide an "insurance policy" to the American People that any questionable circumstances related to these Trump having been compromised would be immediately "cleansed".

Thoughts and prayers don't work.

Yes, vibes and to RBG.  She is the only thing standing in the way of generations of judicial BS and she knows it.

Crazy thing is that if there is a vacancy at the Supreme Court during the upcoming election year, Mitch McConnell made clear they won't follow the policy they invoked back in 2016 to block Obama's nomination of Merrick Garland and would push through whichever American Taliban jurist Pence wants.

He made his hypocrisy of the highest order abundantly clear.

I'm normally one to "take the high ground", but wouldn't be opposed to playing by a similar "all is fair in love and war" perspective; provided there's a genuine effort to "reset" the dial to a level playing field ... both for replacements and reform measures with respect to moving forward.
