Nice. I need a new pre amp.

Nice. I appreciate those genres.

Which death metal albums did you pick up?

Be sure to take a Kumbayah set break every once in a while.  For mental health's sake...

Reek Of Putrefaction by a band named Carcass is in here.

I came for The Misfits, The Plasmatics and The Cramps; the rest is just a bonus. Some crazy shit in here.

I freaked out for a moment because there was an OK copy of Iggy's Raw Power, but it was only a second pressing.

Any Brujeria?

Not yet but I still have another 40 or so to get through.

I'm still going through a Krautrock phase, myself. (Good to see you around these parts, Ateix.)

Carcass is pretty brutal. They were sorta like a poor man's Cannibal Corpse.

How much did you pay?

Who did you get them from?

Are there any more left or did you take them all?

I paid fifty bucks and took about 100 records off the hands of an an old Middle Eastern man who lives about three houses down from me. 99% sure I didn't leave anything back there but a couple of classical box sets and one or box sets of Basil Rathbone & Nigel Bruce doing Sherlock Holmes radio plays. Should have grabbed them, too, frankly.

He said he has about 600 cassettes of primarily Middle Eastern / North African music that I'm hoping to get back there and dig through.

I'm not surprised, the grindcore scene is pretty huge in the Middle East. Nice score.

Don't forget to report him to homeland security, though.

'sup ateix?

This can only lead to taking up with a bad crowd and neglecting your lessons.

I'm listening to this album from 1972.  Not death metal or Krautrock, but the band is Swiss/German and the cover seems appropriate to this thread:

Was this in the collection?

...and I want you hippies to notice!

Hell yeah S.O.D. was in there. No Anthrax, which is fine. Working my way through the Misfits titles.

Those Misfits records are classic.

I'm glad Glenn pumped Jerry Only's breaks on the whole reunion thing. No reason to put out another album. Let the catalogue stand as it is.

well I'm a little disappointed that you didn't already own all this stuff. I hope you at least have a denim jacket with metal studs

I'm actually thinking about going with the Wendy O. Williams look. Studded pasties and a platinum mohawk.

Coup D'Etat is a work of art.
