Hi Stu
The pin that my throttle trigger hinges on fell out in the woods. There’s no finding it.
Looks like maybe that part is discontinued? Any idea where I can find one? Or can I use a generic pin? What size?

Bare copper wire of desired gauge makes for an easy pin in a pinch.

Sorry for your loss...
I don't have a straight answer for you, not knowing if it's a "Cotter Pin" or a straight length of metal.
If the former, your local Ace Hardware or big-box store will have it.
If the latter, maybe try a piece of coat-hanger ground down to the right size, tap it in with a small Hammer ?
Will ask Famous Ray, the chainsaw Pro, when I see him next Tuesday. He has all the parts catalogs and many sources.
