Hurricane Sandy Insurance Fraud

Forums:

60 Minutes did a story tonight about Hurricane Sandy victim homeowners who were also victims of insurance fraud. The fraud appears to have been by some insurance companies & engineering firms that worked for FEMA! This really pisses me off!

Of course there's no proof that anyone at FEMA is to blame. Then to have the big balls to accuse the very same homeowners who were defrauded of being guilty of fraud! Corporate injustice at it's finest! Good luck Hurricane Harvey victim homeowners with flood insurance...

I got a few hundred bucks  after  "Hurricane Sandy"  for chopping up some trees that fell across the driveway,  which was all covered by the policy.

The Insurance co. dude was out to examine,  and I sent photos.

Actually,  there was some other Damage I could have gotten paid for,  but I was still in shock after no Water or Electricity for a couple Weeks.

It was still pretty Cool to get a few $$ for clearing the Driveway,  after many thousands of $$$ in Insurance premiums over the years.
