How Different Would Your Life Have Been...

Forums:

If Jerry had cut off the middle finger of his left hand when a child instead of his right?

This place and the original would not have existed. I would have never met you. For starters.

Lompico is awesome but I like Zayante better

I would have just scarfed up bigger slices of the rest of the pie

How's your wife and Jerry's kids ?

Brother Tiff chopped off Jerry's finger...

I don't understand the question in the OP. Would Mark or someone please explain?

If Jerry 's brother had cut off the middle finger of his left hand, rather than his right, he would never have taken up the guitar.

you don't know that

In 1928, at 18, Belgian gypsy musician Django Reinhardt lost the use of the third and fourth fingers of his left hand in a caravan fire, forcing him to abandon both the violin and banjo and concentrate on the guitar, playing solos with only his index and second finger.

He'd have been a badass southpaw fiddler.

I have 2 kids cos of Phil

Must be something in their water

Django was already a virtuoso by then.   Pretty sure Jerry was not. I don't think someone with a compromised left hand chooses to pick up guitar.

I thought this was a good talking point. Guess I was wrong.  Wow, my first time....

love the thought process markD ,

ii miss music talk on the zone

We would have been watching him wail on the pedal steel. A mind like that finds a way.

friend of mine cut off his left index finger at the first knuckle with a skilsaw... he said the chicks liked it (no fingernail).
