Here Comes Sunshine studio demo track

Forums:

This demo popped up on YouTube yesterday. It's pretty cool. I have some outtakes from a few albums but I don't recall this wake of the flood material.

cool thanks for sharing Jack

I wonder if that was on the tape Mountain girl found in 2016?  Thanks!

That stuff circulated for years. Fun to listen to!

On the latest Good Ole Grateful Dead podcast they play an acoustic demo of Row Jimmy that Jerry recorded at home.  They said it was from a demo tape MG found in 2016.   I'm wondering if this could have been on it as well.  It's a good episode to boot!

Love hearing Hunter talk about it and Half Step's origins of how the songs came to him as he hitchhiked out of New Mexico.

Shameless plug time - The most recent episode of the GOGD podcast on Row Jimmy called out Judy Mowatt's version of Row Jimmy from my bother's album "Fire On The Mountain - Reggae Celebrates the Grateful Dead"

She she sounds great and adds a nice little reference to the Reggae on the River festival.   Take a listen.

And while I am shamelessly plugging, check at his very cool podcast, Rootsland that tells his story : A LI, NY Deadhead,  moving to Kingston Jamaica working for Rita Marley at Tuff Gong Studios and his ups and downs in the music industry.   He is on his 6th season.
