So I want to buy an acoustic Wilco show from their site. Does it work like the itunes store when the purchase goes directly into the itunes library or do I need to save it somewhere else and move it. If the latter , how do I do that. Yes I'm old and stupid

No actual knowledge, but chances are you can specify where you want the file to appear. If not, it will prob. appear in downloads and you can copy/drag it to where you want it.

Nevermind , found more info on the wilco site. unfortunately i think while it looks simple i will likely save it somewhere and then lose it. the d/l is not supported by either safari or internet explorer

not sure which you are trying to buy but the only options i see for the random albums ive clicked on are for itunes, vinyl or CD...so you would have to download thru itunes. idk how all that will work, i dont have itunes, but if you buy it and follow the steps it should provide you with some kind of link that will open itunes and begin downloading the songs...if that link i posted is wrong, where are you trying to download from?
another tip would be to not use either safari or internet explorer, they are widely known to be the worst browsers and you will have much better experiences with almost everything online by using either firefox or chrome.
