'89 Loma quake was the closest I've seen, but the grocery stores were actually closed and there was no electricity for over a week (so ATM machines were useless).  Luckily one local healthfood store allowed people to buy one bag of groceries and pay by check, otherwise I'm not sure what I would have done (and I've kept extra supplies around ever since).

For fucks sake Turts, turn on the heater!

There was that time in 1980 where I had to camp out overnight to get tickets to the Radio City Music Hall shows. At least there were shows to be had.

No, this is pretty weird. Working from home, not playing music with any other musicians, limiting trips to the grocery store. At least my house is paid for and everybody is healthy so far.

Scary times out there.  Hoarders yeah I agree are pathetic, I score only what my fam needs for a certain amount of time, no more. We're out in the country, I have friends and neighbors who I know will be in need of something and knockin on my door before this is over.  What we don't consume always goes to the local food pantry. 

It's not just getting stocked up, the key is getting stocked up now,  before the infected numbers rise and the risk to this over 60 fucker increases exponentially. 

Remain healthy folks, use good judgment.

Turtle is like me we don't do that though it has been chilly in the a.m./s  last couple days.

Since when do cats like 58 degrees?  I bet it's trying to sit on your head or, like my kitty, your laptop, for heat!

we have a typical southern california pre-50/60's cottage. they only have wall heaters...which we just turned off. it really doesn't heat the living room so used an electric space heater and drank coffee. 

hate those wall heaters, have had those in other places. spring soon come!
