happy solstice Zoners, hope you're finding the light in your life

I miss the PZ formatting... and the fun I had doing it.

80 degrees here for the next week.

Yule yes

It always struck me as kind of odd that the days get longer after the solstice, but we're now headed into the coldest couple of months of the year.

December is cold enough here.  For 36 hours it did not vary from 37-39 degrees. And rain all this week with a chance of snow on the weekend.

Sweet pic DJ

It's the atmosphere and the ocean. Takes a while to heat 'em up or cool 'em down.

Right now there's a bunch of super cell thunderstorms off the Oregon coast, but they're low capped, so nothing like midwest storms, still, a sign of things to come, as it's looking like some rare valley floor snow for the PNW starting this weekend, last thru the week...  models all conflict (some dump the snow, others do record cold).  So be prepared NWers, we've got the nations winter so far this year (and Cali has our rain, which is muy bueno)
