Those Ark shows are as good as anything done in 1969.

Went to see TC and cohorts on Friday in York PA at a really nice restored old theater.

"Live Dead Brothers" with Berry Duane Oakley on bass and Les Dudek on slide guitar to add authenticity to the Allman Brothers tunes. (Les was an almost Allman back in 73 or so and also was Cher's boyfriend in the 80s.) Pate Lavezzoli (drums) and Oakley were a super fine rhythm section. Mark Karan and Scott Guberman (organ) covered the Dead material well. Everybody sang. It was a damn fine cover band.

One of the highlights of the show was TC doing Mountains of the Moon solo on his piano. Guberman joined on organ. It was timeless.

Kimock with be playing the 2 Chicago shows in a couple weeks instead of Dudek.
