Kind greetings to everyone today, even trolls ! Does anyone have any exciting plans today or projects going on.?
Beautiful day here today, slightly overcast expected to reach highs of 50.
Last year i made vegan mashed potatoes which is easy, this year i'm trying gravy also. Does anyone have a good easy vegan gravy recipe?
Namaste

That's sort of the basis of how I make vegan gravy. However, you have to make sure you mix the flour with oil before adding the water or stock.
I usually mix about a quarter cup of flour with a couple of diced vegetable bullion cubes and then drizzle it with oil and heat it in pan until its a paste. I then slowly add water and stir it up on medium heat until it thickens into a gravy. I then add diced mushrooms and jalapenos, onions, herbs, and garlic and continue to let it simmer while stirring occasionally. After a little bit - you have spicy vegan mushroom gravy. You can skip the jalapenos, but I like chiles in pretty much everything.
We will have a diverse crowd this year with a mix of omnivores, vegans, and gluten free folks. I am charge of the vegan stuff.

I made a vegetarian shepherds pie tonight. It’s good, but would be better with meat.
My vegetarian daughter, home from college, was very happy.
