Happy Birthday Bob Weir

Forums:

Happy 74th Bob. Thanks for all the great music you've contributed to the soundtrack of my life. I'll never forget the bottle of champagne we passed back and forth to you while you were on stage at the Capitol Theater in Passaic with Bobby and The Midnights. Sorry for all the shit you get from so called deadheads. IMHO, you're still the most interesting, intricate rhythm guitar player I've had the pleasure to listen to. Keep that Truckin' on!

Happy Birthday!

What a night for the Bobstar.

10/16/89 was Epic!

<< Epic

Yes it was, wasn't that the show with the train horn blast during drums ? Scared the fuck outta me at the time.

I think that might have been too early for "train horn" although I may be wrong. I was flipped out on a couple Blue Unicorns. We had 20+ people in our crew all melting down on em. 2nd time they played the Darkstar in its return. They later released the show as "Nightfall of Diamonds" I'd love to get a copy of that on vinyl.

I think '92 ushered in the train horns?

Blast 'em long & loud for Mr. Bobby Weir today!

Happy birthday, Bob, and many happy returns.

I've always loved that guy, and he can still do what he does.

Keep on doing what you do Bobby!

One of my favorite photos, taken at the best show I ever saw him play. Damn he was brilliant that night...

Happy Birthday, Bobby 7.4 !!!

This is an old favorite photo of mine. It's from London's Rainbow Theater March 1981. Bobby's "Rowing" his guitar to the tune of 'Row, Jimmy, Row' , as Phil cracks up in the background.

Good times.  heart

HBD, Bob.
