A friend of mine listens to KVMR's "Dead Air" program most every Saturday night. The last couple of weeks the Nevada City based program was preempted for special live streaming events. My friend found a station in Hawaii, KKCR 90.9, with a similar program to stream and was impressed by it.
I did a search of GD streaming music and noticed there must be hundreds of radio/internet stations in the country that have some kind of programming that features GD in addition to the Sirius channel and syndicated shows like the one hosted by David Gans.
This got me to wondering, does anyone know of any other band, now or defunct, that has these kind of regular broadcasts?

I was in Hawaii and one of the radio stations had a regular Bob Marley hour. Lots of classic rock stations have a regular "Get the Led Out" thing, but it usually just three or four songs, not an hour's worth. Plenty of Beatles shows too.

If I may add our program,
If I may add our program, 'Morning Dew' has been on the Air in the Tri-State Area for 30 years. Although we were never strictly limited to Grateful Dead music, and we have broadened our scope considerably to a very eclectic range of bands & genres, The Dead are where our roots are, and we always return to that. Perhaps you might like to try listening to our recent Tribute to Robert Hunter, which we have Archived. Enjoy:

One of the stations where I grew up had an Elvis hour once a week, but other than that I do not know of an hour long show dedicated to a single musician/band on terrestrial radio other than the Grateful Dead.
KLCC in Eugene (87.9) also sports a GD radio show called Dead Air, hosted by Downtown Deb on Saturdays from 7-9pm. Est. 1991.

I have a little transistor
I have a little transistor radio in my camping stuff and there is nothing like being out in BFE and coming across a local GD show. Its happened more than it probably should.
>>>>Portland's community radio station, KBOO-FM, has offered a Noon - 2pm PST show, Grateful Dead and Friends
Many years ago, long before I moved to Oregon, I was traveling from Crescent City, California to Grants Pass, Oregon and stumbled across a local radio show sponsored by a local attorney. I said to myself, one day I will do that.
Fast forward 15 years and I had the pleasure of sponsoring KBOO's Grateful Dead and friends show for a few years in the mid-2000s. Bucket list, check.
KBOO is a great station. If you get up early enough on Saturday, they have a classic country show before the bluegrass show. I heard a funny thing the other day about how during one of the pledge drives, the DJ promised that if they reached their fundraising goal, they would never ever play Stairway to Heaven. Apparently, Robert Plant had just done a show in Portland and was driving to the coast, and when he heard that, he pledged $15,000. Accordingly to Plant: "Its not a bad song, its just that I have heard it before."

I find it interesting that
I find it interesting that after nearly 25 years since the band ended, there seems to be many more regularly broadcasted programs dedicated to GD music than other bands/artists. I'm sure there are a number of Dylan, Beatles, Stones, etc. programs, but from what I find, these shows are mostly from syndicated, label supported mainstream media outlets. The GD shows appear to be more varied across the spectrum of radio and streaming outlets. Quite a legacy.

Here in Seattle, KBCS, a community radio station out of Bellevue Community College, broadcasts Gans' GD Hour followed by three hours of independent Dead programming for three hours every Sunday night. Some of it's real good, some of it sounds like a 4th gen tape picked off the shag carpet in the Chevy Van, but the hosts hearts are in the right place, and they always sound like they just burned one in the parking lot.

I think y'all will find this
I think y'all will find this one quite interesting. It's a weekly Internet-based Radio Program from Madrid, Spain, called Estacion Terapin, Hosted by my dear friend, Oscar Ruiz. It's completely Spanish spoken commentary., but consists primarily of Grateful Dead and deep roots Americana and Psychedelic music. Oscar got On The Bus when the Dead played in Barcelona in 1981. His show Airs on http://www.HGRNJ.org every Wednesday at 11:00 am -1:00pm (EST), but he archives all his shows here:

p.s. Deb's been doing Dead Air since 1986, first on the short-lived KRXX am, a station fueled by coke money from Marin, then KZEL, and then KLCC in 1991.
