Day Tripper-> West L.A. Fadeaway-> CC Rider, Dire Wolf, Beat It On Down The Line-> Row Jimmy, Me & My Uncle, Big River, Big Railroad Blues, Jack Straw-> Might As Well

Gimme Some Lovin'-> China Cat Sunflower-> I Know You Rider-> Playin' In The Band-> Drums-> The Wheel-> Playin' In The Band-> China Doll-> Sugar Magnolia, E: Touch Of Gray

35 years ago today.  The band was on a roll.  Ohio got back to back smokers, and SPAC, Hershey Park, Merriweather and the Pittsburgh Civic were all ahead in the next week.  It was a good time to be seeing the Grateful Dead.

Very laid back venue, not crowded, had lawn seats, security did not check tickets until the last reserved section.

Sat 2 rows behind the board, plus there was a drop ceiling to keep the sound from getting lost in the roof.

There was only one other show that closed with this medley....Playin' In The Band-> Drums-> The Wheel-> Playin' In The Band-> China Doll-> Sugar Magnolia

Morgantown WV 4/10/83.  Less than a 200 mile drive.

SPAC, Hershey Park, Merriweather and the Pittsburgh Civic were all ahead in the next week>>>

Exhausting 8 days of driving to circle back to the Igloo after starting in Cleveland

Loved this show, those first notes of day tripper while the sun was still up, what a ball of energy it stirred up that night. Strong Jerry show, but Bobby really got cranking on the sugar mag, jumping up on the piano and scaffolding if I remember right. I did this show and the igloo

My second show (first was the previous year, same venue).

On the bus after this one...

Blossoms blooming, indeed!

Me and my old girlfriend and a bunch of others got up on that stage and we all danced around Vassar Clements at a bluegrass fest there. A great time that day.

Was in attendance at this "20 Years So Far" event... personally was 12 years, that far.

Blossom Music Center is the summer home of the Cleveland Orchestra.

I've only seen one classical concert there, but countless others including Peter Gabriel, Jethro Tull, Elton John, ABB, Phish, and Berlin/Thompson Twins (Ha! Free listener appreciation tickets from the local radio station, WMMS)...

for the WWMS fans from when the station was truly a buzzard, Maury Saul and Bill Freeman yea.

It's Friday, it is the weekend, we gotta, gotta., gotta, get down, Damn it!

I remember Phil holding his arms up in praise to the wood structure pavilion in 1984. What a great place it was to see a Grateful Dead show. The sound down in front was the best I've ever heard. I also saw all of those summer 1985 shows and it's pretty hard to top the fun that was being had following those guys around the country. I was at Morgantown as well Krab! Was in school at OU in Athens.

Caught this one too, beautiful venue!!
