The song Midnight at the Oasis continues to make me cringe.

I've always liked Maria Muldaur and that hit single of hers.  My recollection is that she was involved with Garcia Band projects,  maybe worked on some other GD side-projects.  Great musician and lovely voice.

She had relationship with John Kahn for a while,  maybe late-70's.

As a kid I always heard "catfish" instead of cactus.  All I know is that some shit was going down after midnight at the Oasis and I probably would have wanted to be there.
