From what I see the next generation will have plenty of grandad recipes and not so many grandmom recipes. Personally I love to cook so I'll be passing on a bunch myself.
Wow, thanks for the flashback Slack. My grandfather used to make his own kind of mac & cheese with ground beef. It doesn't sound like much, but something about the way he seasoned the ground beef made it my favorite meal when I was a kid. Unfortunately, he passed away unexpectedly in 1978 & the recipe went with him. I can practically taste it now.
i cook it for a day before I eat it, place in the fridge and take the grease off of the top the second day, cook until potatoes break up and thicken the soup, some times I will throw in some cooked noodles too.

Which is just distilled moonshine, made from sugarcane ~
