Gov't Fucking Mule At My House

Forums:

This one's a long time coming. Gov't Mule finally coming to the Palace in Waterbury, one of the most beautiful superb souding old theatres in existence. Beacon got nuthin on the Palace. From Houdini and Caruso to Zappa the Dead JGB to Jeff Beck, Skynyrd, Aerosmith and the Rolling Thunder Revue. Everybody who was anybody graced that stage, bout fucking time the mule found this place.

This will be a great New Years run, 12-28.

Jolly good show

A few years back I saw them in the building that housed The Louisiana Hayride.  Sound was incredible and I got to meet and hang with Warren thanks to a Zoner.

Enjoy!

Finally music back at the Palace!!  I rec'vd word awhile back and was hoping that it would be solid.

We'll be hosting a party for that one. Details to follow.  Waterbury is one of my stomping grounds.  We played the 9-23-72 show in its entirety back in '07, just a few doors up from the Palace.

May just have to go to that one, its def one if my all time favorite venues as well

This Connecticut meetup will be epic.

Bring Dogman

C'mon out slack we'll put you up for the weekend.

You can see how the other half lives. Hahaaaaaaa

Which leads to another question -- Would you NOT want to meet or hang with any zoner based on their political or any other bent leanings ?

I'd be more than happy to meet any of you fuckers

Can't educate without interacting

You and I don't like the same things.

Not a Muler ? Hmmmm OK then, that explains a lot.

So what, the fun is us.

They're just the players, we are the show. Invite always open.

Mule at the Palace. Been looking forward to this since 1994

Have a great time Raz, Mule kicks ass.

Going to show, but not til after my nieces holiday hoop tourney (she just rcvd a full ride for basketball at St. Anselms next year )...dont think ill be down to Waterbury until very close to show time, but, if we re early, we ll def put that address in the loop, Raz.

Have fun!

I’m really looking forward to seeing the allman betts band, whenever that happens.

Turf Grill on Grand St ain't a bad spot either, but there's a cool bar literally 1 door up from the Palace, and a pizza joint 1 door up from that.  No metal detectors and the Palace lets you in and out as much as you like during the show.  I cruise out at least a few tmes for more affordable drinks and a slice or 2. Workers there are all mellow yellow volunteers.  Love the Palace.

Awesome Mule ! snag the torrent above ^^^^^^^^^

See you freaks there!!!!!!

Coyotte~

Hot show, these fuckers are right as rain, a nice soul cleansing. Perfect mix of old school and others. Time To Confess which has never been a favorite, ending set 1 was searing scorching, I actually saw flames coming from Warren's fingers. Tid bit tease pieces were strategically placed perfection - Little Drummer Boy in the St Stephen jam (I think) - Danny playing Dance Of The Sugarplum Ferries on trombone in the middle of, I can't remember right now. Mt Jam, Dreams, Game Face all fucking ripped. It could have been longer but an all around great show.

Show was great, crowd was a lil mellow....

But, overall great time w great music at a great venue
