Murph Murphy is stu's delight?

I thoroughly dig what Murph brings to this music.

IMHO he brings that fundamental pocket bass groove, some snap and funk but can also paint outside the lines and "infer," the groove ala Reddy Kilowatt...

I have been seeing him for years in SF (even before he played with Stu) and he has always been fantastically funky and musical.

Murph was in the Sacramento Band Isabella for years. Great party band

Murph used to also play with Bizar Bazaar (frequently at Boom Boom Room).
Guitarist  - Michael Bizar moved to LA from SF but was kickin' ass with Jams often around SF.

Nice lookin setlist

Would be cool to see a reunion at TXR

Was a good time last night.

Coming back for more tonight.

Anyone have an extra ticket for my phriend who wants to get on the bus tonight.

My email is in my profile.

Thx in advance.

I am in for round 2 and will also be in McLaren on Sunday!

I know someone with a spare but he's flying in from Hellay.
Probably he'll be lookin' to sell it at the bar.

Thx for that Treble. If you talk to him maybe mention you have a friend in need?

Hey Treeflo, I have the same issue getting email in profile, check the Techie Talk thread.  Our crack Zoner IT department is investigating!

Hey, I'm looking for one or two extras for tonight too...   And if you want more Murph, check out the Stu and Friends set at the Petaluma Music Festival coming up this Saturday.   Stu's on at one with Murph, Jordan Feinstein and Ezra Lipp, doing his classic rock cover thing... which is mind-bogglingly good, especially with this lineup.  Oh, Murph is also playing with Poor Man's Whiskey, who are on a little later on Saturday...

Anyone able to help me out tonight?  I haven't made a profile yet but I'll check back here...   Cheers!

I have an extra for tonight. I've contacted Treeflow... Haven't heard back yet so looking for another option. Email ins profile.

Thx for trying David.

Sorry you're not gonna make it.

Anybody else with an extra we have cash at the door and atleast a complimentary beverage.

Murph is the fucking man. Most badass bass player in the Bay Area apart from Phil of course. Murph brings serious low end power and groove, but also gets trippy outside the lines in a way that reminds me of Crimson's best bassists like Levin or Wetton. And Murph nails the tricky parts and never fucks up. Yeah he's good. It's good to see him getting praise here. Bass-ically, if you see Murph on a show lineup, go.
