Critics hated Kevin Costner's post-apocalyptic epics Waterworld and The Postman. Thought they were both good, especially the Postman.
Jaws II is often scoffed at, but was a great beach-blanket, teenage horror flick. Nowhere nearly as good as the original, but a decent stand alone film.

The Mexican
All the Pirates of the Caribbean movies (Depp is a HST disciple after all - the "Jack Sparrow in Davey Jones' Locker" part, with the crabs picking the ship up, is one of my favorite psychedelic movie scenes of all times - & the music is totally an '80's GD drums/space)
