Good luck Springsteen On Broadway code holders

Forums:

If you got a code, good luck. If you are on standby, good luck. This might be the most coveted ticket ever sold. For every ticket available, there were 2,800 requests for a code. If you got the code, I suggest you also buy a lottery ticket because you are a lucky one.

I got a code, didn't know it was that big a deal. $75 tix long gone, $200 probably gone by now too. Not sure about the $400 and up.

added ten more weeks....thru feb 3rd!

The run is going to be extended, with more information coming later today. I was just looking at Stubhub and the cheap seats are going for around 1,200 a piece with good center orchestra tickets runing around 4,000.

I'm sure they could extend this for a year if they wanted and it would still be sold out. It must be good to be The Boss, sometimes.

So much for that ticket algorithm that's supposed to determine who's a 'fan', and who's a scalper, based on past TM/Stubhub activity.

There aren't a whole lot of tickets available on the secondary market, so while not perfect, I think it helped a lot. I'm also sure more than a handful of those tickets in the secondary market are regular buyers, not pro scalpers, who are saying to themselves, "I can make a few thousand dollars on a pair of tickets? Maybe I will just go on vacation instead."

i am still on standby unless the codes have already been distributed

No luck here, but I'm told he added a bunch more weeks.  Maybe those codes are still to come?

A number of codes were distributed late yesterday. A bunch of standby people were sent codes this morning. TM announced this afternoon that no more codes would be distributed "today." I would not be surprised if that means some more codes show up tomorrow. I also would not be surprised if a number of seats on the secondary market are cancelled in the next day or so. Springsteen, Inc. is really trying hard to get these tickets into actual fan hands, not just people with a lot of expendable income.

As for the dates that have been added on to the run, I believe that a new verification lottery will be happening for them. TM is tweeking the Verified Buyer System each time they use it.
