Anybody remember that band
Anybody remember that band arc angels? (Whipper and Doyle Bramhall) after SRV died? It was a bit overproduced, but huge sound. This is a pretty cool lineup and would be pretty entertaining to see.
I didn’t know billy Cox still played. He will turn 80 the week after hardly strictly.

Arch Angels were a kick ass
Arch Angels were a kick ass band. Ego's were way to big though. Sexton and especially Bramhall come across as dickheads.

Never met either of them, but
Never met either of them, but it sure does seem that way. They have both toured with some huge (like, the biggest) names since those days though. Not a lot of tolerance for jerky sidemen in that sphere.

I saw the Arc Angels a few
I saw the Arc Angels a few years back when they reunited and did a small tour. What a good band that is/was.
